GALLERY BENEATH continues to grow
GALLERY BENEATH continues to grow by constantly striving to bring quality artworks of undisputed value presented by established artists to the Sunshine Coast. “Our modern homes demand cheerful paintings that make you smile” says Claire Torrance, Gallery Director. Visitors to this website are to be the first to learn of a major coup by the Directors of Gallery Beneath. From June 27th the gallery will be the first art gallery in Australia to stock and promote for sale the internationally successful art prints-on-canvas series, The Lonely Dog by Ivan Clarke. This NZ artist, known for his landscapes, has created a collection of works depicting the family dog. That was 27 original master works ago. Each original is held in a family Trust and is never sold. The limited editions, bronze sculptures, and LE books are offered to clients on a first reserved basis. The interest in the series has proved beyond a doubt that The Lonely Dog artworks will be a worldwide phenomenon, if it isn’t already. The movie production rights have been bought by Warner Bros Studio and the animation house WETA, of Lords of the Ring fame, has signed up to create the characters.
It is also believed that a European based book publisher is negotiating to publish the stories behind the paintings in six languages. Pre-sales on the latest picture to be released exceeded $600,000 all going to avid collectors with standing reservations in place. To register your interest and get an invitation to the major preview release exhibition to be held in GALLERY BENEATH, Mooloolaba on Friday 26th June at 6 pm contact Claire on 5444 7775 or email to Claire@gallerybeneath.com.au.
WOLFGANG LAMMLE
WHEN A MASTER COMES TO TOWN many admirers crowd around. In Europe he is known as "The Master of Light" for his magical ability to capture the very presence of sunlight with oil paint. “It was easy to recognise the quality and skill” says Claire when she is describing this major new and talented addition to the Australian collectible art scene, Wolfgang Lammle – The Impressionist.Another first for Gallery Beneath on the Sunshine Coast. After more than 40 years creating artworks of supreme quality to the great satisfaction of a expansive audience in France, Germany and Switzerland, Wolfgang has made the Sunshine Coast his home and we are delighted to report his first solo exhibition an unqualified success. Despite the economic news the opportunity to acquire these new investment quality works has enticed a growing list of collectors.
“Since the introduction of oils by Wolfgang we have established an immediate marketplace”. His early training with the Russian masters of impressionist works has matured his natural skills. His future is assured as he expands his subject matter to include Australian content. Prices are at serious discounts when compared to his last exhibition in Switzerland in 2008.
